Habib Jalib Mela starts

Two-day Habib Jalib Awami Mela started at Alhamra Art Council here on Tuesday in connection with the anniversary of the revolutionary poet. Noted writer Muhammad Aslam Gurdaspuri presided over the inaugural ceremony of the festival and Mehfil-e-Mushahira. Writers and films stars and poets, including Syed Noor, Shan, Nisho, Pervez Kaleem, Nasir Adeeb, Kanwal Feroz, Saadat Saeed, Iftikhar Bokhari, Najeeb Ahmad, Maqsood Chugtai, Nasir Jalib, Amer Jalib, MZ Kanwal, Mumtaz Rashid, Najma Shaheen, Nasir Basheer and Aziz Sheikh, attended the event.
