First look of Saqib Malik’s Baaji unveiled

Well-known music video and ad director Saqib Malik, who is gearing up for his big screen directorial debut, titled Baaji, recently released the first look of the movie that features veteran actress Meera ji and model turned actor Amna Ilyas.Both Meera and Amna look absolutely stunning in the first look poster of the movie.The poster seems quite curious with a tagline that says: “Every Dream Has A Price”. The release date of the film has also been announced and Baaji will hit theatres on June 28, 2019.Dubbed as a social drama-thriller set against the backdrop of a ‘fading Lollywood and the emerging new order of the Pakistan film industry’, Baaji is co-written by Irfan Ahmed Urfi and Saqib Malik. Though Baaji hopes to pay homage to the classics of Pakistani cinema (of the seventies), it will be contemporary in its tone and treatment with a social message. Baaji also promises to be high on glamour and drama with an all star cast including Osman Khalid Butt, Mohsin Abbas Haider, Ali Kazmi, Ali Saleem and veterans Nayyar Ejaz and Nisho besides Meera and Amna Ilyas.
