Islamabad : KRL Model College for Boys is committed to encourage and groom the potential of their students in the form of co-curricular activities, where students are able to participate in different events and competitions.In this connection, KRL Model College for Boys arranged an inter House Parliamentary Urdu Debate, presided by Dr. Asim Fasih Khan, Director Education KRL students of the four houses participated in the event, says a press release.The programme was arranged and conducted by Professor Bahar Mustafa Shamsi (Incharge Urdu Debate), under the supervision of Principal of KMC Boys Professor Wali Astan. The salient feature of this debate was that each participant was given an unknown topic at the spot. The students and faculty were fascinated and enjoyed the arguments by the debaters participating in the unique event. According to the decision of the judges Jawad Mehboob (Class XI) got 1st position, Awad Amir (Class XI) 2nd position and Rehan Ahmed (Class XI) 3rd position in this contest.At the end, while addressing the audience Chief Guest Dr. Asim Fasih Khan (Director Education KRL) appreciated the efforts of students and urged the significant role of parliamentary debate. He also appreciated the role of the college management and the House Masters on arranging the contest in a proper way. The event was concluded by culmination of prize distribution ceremony.
