Chingchi banned on The Mall

LAHORE : Following the orders of Lahore High Court the city traffic police have banned motorcycle-rickshaws on Mall Road, Jail Road, Canal Road, Ferozepur Road, Gulberg Main Boulevard and on several roads of cantonment area, however, city traffic police temporarily allowed rickshaws to move from Dharampura Bridge to Jallo Mor.City traffic police is taking stern action against rickshaws on violations. After the ban of rickshaws smooth flow of traffic would be ensured on the said roads, a spokesperson of city traffic police said, adding that majority of rickshaw drivers were under-age and without driving licence.
