Iqra Aziz to make her film debut opposite Yasir Hussain

Having won two trophies at the Lux Style Awards 2019 for her performance in Ramazan special series, Suno Chanda, earlier this year, Iqra Aziz is certainly one of the most sought-after actresses today.She won many hearts with her intense performance in drama serial Ranjha Ranjha Kardi that garnered immense praise before coming to an end earlier this year.Gearing up for her next TV project titled Jhooti, the actress, according to recent reports, has signed her first film in which she will star opposite Yasir Hussain. The two made headlines post Yasir’s marriage proposal to Iqra at the Lux Style Awards 2019, giving rise to all sorts of remarks.Coming back to their film, it is titled Half Fry and is said to be an action comedy that will also feature actors such as Faizan Khawaja and Faryal Mehmood in important roles. The film was announced earlier this year and is expected to go on floors shortly. However, we aren’t sure of the storyline or characters yet.Helmed by Abu Aleeha, who directed Kataksha and Tevar, Half Fry will release in 2020. Watch this space for more details on the film.
