Islamabad: Institute of Space Technology (IST) will arrange its mega activity of ‘Youth Carnival 2019’ from March 28-30 for engaging students of the institute as well as other universities in different innovative competition and activities.It is the regular feature for IST to arrange such activities and this year too students of different institutions are enthusiastically registering themselves for participating in the competitions of their interest, an official of IST informed while talking to APP.The last date of registration for the students of different institutions will be March 14 which was extended from March 12 considering the overwhelming response from the students.The event categories for the carnival will be Naat and Qiraat, Creative Writing, Media and Graphic Arts, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, Music, Poetry, Declamation, Quiz, Aerospace, Electrical, Materials, Mechanical Design and Applications, Space Exploration and Discoveries, Mathematical Challenge, Innovation, Creativity and Commercialization and Sports.The competition in various categories will include Qiraat, Naat, Singing, Drama, Mime, Painting, Debate, poetry, Bait Baazi, Table Tennis, Basketball, Futsal, Mathematics, Innovation, Pakistan Affairs, on spot selfie, short film, souvenir design and on Spot Fast Film.Such competitions give a platform to the students to express their innovative talents and prove their excellence in constructive way.
