Thundershowers likely today

Islamabad : Amid rising daytime temperatures, the Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast thundershowers in Islamabad and adjoining areas for today (Thursday).The next day will be cold and dry. According to a weatherman, the brief rainy spell will be caused by a westerly wave.He said mainly partly cloudy weather conditions were expected in most upper parts of the country on Thursday.However, rainfall coupled with thunderstorm and snowfall over the hills is likely to be seen at isolated places in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
