KARACHI: Shaniera Akram, wife of former skipper Wasim Akram has welcomed former Australian captain Shane Watson to Pakistan after he confirmed his presence in the last leg of the Pakistan Super League in Karachi.Shaniera commented on the Twitter post of Shane Watson, saying “Welcome Watto! Probably not so great for my team that your coming but my country comes first &We are thrilled to host you in Pakistan again.”She added, “if you thought we were passionate about cricket last time you were here, wait till you see us now!”Shane Watson took cricket fanatics in Pakistan by surprise when he confirmed his presence in the last leg of the Pakistan Super League in Karachi.Watson, who is coming to Pakistan after a period of 14 long years, expressed his excitement in a social media post published on Wednesday."It’s been 14 years since I last visited Pakistan, a place with some of the most passionate fans in world cricket. Can’t wait to give it our best shot in bringing home the trophy with @quetta.gladiators," Watson said.
