Rally staged in support of PM, security forces

PESHAWAR: Members of minority community on Saturday staged demonstration in support of Prime Minister Imran Khan and security forces of Pakistan in the face of threats from India.Led by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Jamshed Thomas, Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Viqas Khokhar and others, the minority community members staged a rally outside the Peshawar Press Club.Addressing the rally, the leaders said that India could not provide any proof of involvement of any Pakistani in the Pulwama attack. However, it remained adamant on attacking Pakistan, making Pulwama an excuse for it, they added.They said it was just a stunt of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to win support for elections.They said the Indian government should accept Pakistan’s offer for talks to restore harmony in the region.
