LAHORE: Partly cloudy weather with trace rain was observed in the City on Sunday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.Met officials said a westerly wave was present along the western parts of the country and was likely to affect the western and central parts of the country during next 18 to 24 hours. They predicted that mainly dry weather was expected in most parts of the country. However, light rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Bahawalpur division. Partly cloudy weather conditions are likely in the upper parts. Rainfall was recorded in a number of cities, including Kalat, Panjgur, Dalbandin, Barkhan, DG Khan, Kot Addu, Mirkhani, Kalam, DI Khan and Garidupatta. Met officials said Sunday’s lowest temperature was recorded at Kalam where the mercury dropped to -04°C while in Lahore it was 14.2°C and maximum was 24.8°C.
