Old buildings

Some old residential buildings in Karachi are in a dilapidated condition. Worn out pipes that haven’t been changed since the day they were installed are causing the leakage problem which is weakening the foundation pillars on which the building stands. The gravity of this problem can be explained from the fact that some flats were vacated to avoid any untoward incident. Apartment buildings across the city are densely populated and living in in such flats endangers the livesof people. Before any unpleasant incident takes place, it is better to look into this matter seriously and bind the unions of all flats to keep the building in a good condition and carry out regular repair work.Faisal AnsarKarachi
