LAHORE: A man killed his newlywed wife over domestic dispute in Sanda police limits on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Khalida, 25. The accused has been identified as Malik Ghazali.The couple got married three months back. On the day of incident, they exchanged harsh words over which Ghazali whipped out weapon and opened fire. She was taken to a local hospital where she dies. Police reached the scene and collected forensic evidences. Police have removed the body to morgue. The accused person is at large.Man found dead: A 35-year-old man was found dead in Badami Bagh police limits. The deceased was found dead in Data Nagar area. Police reached the scene after being informed and shifted the body to morgue. Police said the victim was a drug addict who might have died due to over-dose.transferred: Lahore DIG Operations Muhammad Waqas Nazir has issued orders of transfers and postings amongst the upper and lower subordinates on administrative grounds. As many as 318 officials were transferred and posted.Reportedly, 39 sub-inspectors, two lady sub-inspectors, 64 asis, 36 head constables, 172 constables and five lady constables were transferred. Waqas said the transfers were made as per policy of the department.He said the speedy act of transfers and postings based on personal appearance at his orderly room, is to discourage Safarish culture. He advised the officials to avoid Safarish and appear at orderly room on every Saturday with their genuine problems.The transferred officials had appeared in person before him at with their problems and their orders regarding transfers and postings were issued within a week of their appearance. It is pertinent to mention here that transfer and posting orders of as many as 354 Police officers and officials had been issued previously on their appearance at orderly room.
