Miserably dirty

Both the drains and the heaps of filth make a good breeding place for mosquitoes and flies.To make matters worse, some cows and buffaloes are tethered in the street. Not only do they obstruct traffic, they also add to the filth. If this stage of things is allowed to go on, some epidemic will soon break out.
