LAHORE: The Home Department, Punjab, on Saturday granted permission to a joint investigation team (JIT) to interrogate former premier Nawaz Sharif in the Model Town tragedy.JIT members, led by AD Khwaja, will reportedly record the statement of the former PM at the Kot Lakhpat Jail on Monday. The jail superintendent has denied receiving any notification in this regard. When contacted, the additional secretary Prisons said he has no knowledge about it.
