KARACHI: Kreative Planet CEO Abdul Moiz, who has been organising Karachi Premier League, a T20 event, for last four years, has said that his organisation would hold a T20 tournament for school-going children in summer vacations, in May and June.Talking to ‘The News’ on Friday, he said that there is a need to organise an inter- school T20 championship.“T20 cricket is popular among the youngsters, but school-going boys have no opportunity to show their talent,” he said. “Thus, we decided to organise an inter- school T20 championship,” he added.He said that the event would be organised after Ramadan.Moiz further said that the details would be announced in due course. “Sports teachers, coaches and PT masters should make preparations for the event,” he said.He said that the event would be organised according to the PCB’s rules and regulations.Moiz further said that they would organise an event to honour emerging quick sensation Muhammad Hasnain after the ODI series against Australia for which he has been selected on the basis of his performance in the recently concluded PSL.He claimed that Hasnain was a product of Karachi Premier League.He said that Kreative Planet would hold competitions of other sports disciplines as well for the betterment of society.
