In crisis

This refers to the article ‘The IAF in crisis’ (March 6) by Dr Farrukh Saleem. I read the article with great interest as it carried useful information about the Indian Air Force’s current deteriorating international rating. It also reminded me of what Indian PM Modi said about India’s intrusion in Pakistani airspace. He said that if India had Rafale, “the results would have been different”.With all due respect, I would like to remind Modi – and I think he must have heard it before – an English phrase which goes “the problem is not the gun, but the person behind the gun”.
