The Super Market police claimed to have busted a five-member gang of motorcycle lifters. Reacting to the information received, a police party reached the C-1 graveyard area of Liaquatabad where the suspects were busy in looting citizens. On seeing the police, the suspects opened fire, and in retaliation the police fired back and arrested Shahzaib, Ghaffar, Shafiq, Naeem and Mohsin.The police also claimed to have recovered 815 grams of hashish, three stolen motorcycles, a 30 bore TT Pistol and two TT Pistols. During the initial interrogation, Naeem told the police that he had earlier been arrested by the Super Market police for being involved in a number of street crime cases.
