Crimes online

The most common cyber crimes in Pakistan are blackmailing, harassing, hacking, cyber terrorism and online shopping scams. Blackmailing through different social media platforms is common these days and a majority of the victims are women. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) made more than 209 arrests in 2018. To deal with this problem, it is important to create awareness among the youth regarding online safety. Education regarding cyber crimes should be made mandatory in educational institutions as this step can help save a lot of lives.Ali Raza Asghar ( Hyderabad )
