The mother of Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Amir passed away on Monday night. She was admitted in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a private hospital. Mohammad Amir broke the news of his mother’s demise on Twitter, stating, “My AMI (mother) IS NO MORE".Earlier on the day, the fast bowler also requested the people to remember his mother in prayers as she was being treated in a hospital.Mohammad Amir did not play the Monday game for Karachi Kings against Multan Sultans as he had left for Pakistan last night. Usman Shinwari replaced him.Meanwhile, Pakistani cricketers have also condoled with Mohammad Amir in their replies to his tweet.Sarfraz Ahmad, national cricket team captain said that “May Allah give patience to you and higher ranks to your mother in Jannah”.
