Cleanliness drive continues

Rawalpindi : Under the ‘Clean and Green’ Punjab programme which would continue till March 23rd, on its 2nd day (Tuesday) RWMC and Albayrak fixed its four camps in different locations of Rawalpindi and Murree, says a press release.The awareness campaign is continuously being done by the representatives of the companies.In each camp, handwashing activities involved more than 500 visitors and distributed waste bags to ensure proper waste disposal. Thousands of Albayrakians and RWMC workers disseminated the message of cleanliness. The workers hired for cleanliness week made cleanliness in the city from dawn to dusk, the roads were washed and tons of waste was dumped. The teams of RWMC & Albayrak communicated the importance of cleanliness by visiting door to door in the city. Similarly this message was spread in market areas and religious places.Many educational institutes showed their interest to be a part of this campaign. Students of Arid Agriculture University, Comsats and other educational institutes met with RWMC Communications Manager, Nasir Mehmood and offered to participate in this campaign voluntarily.
