LAHORE: A prestigious change of guard ceremony was held here on Saturday at mausoleum of poet of the East Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal in connection with Pakistan Day.A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Air Force clad in immaculate blue assumed ceremonial guard duties with traditional spirit and enthusiasm. Air Cdre Rizwan Malik was the chief guest on the occasion as contingent of Pakistan Air Force took the guards duties at the mausoleum of Allama Iqbal.He reviewed the activities of Pakistan Air Force contingent and laid a floral wreath over the great philosopher poet’s grave and offered Fateha.Allama Iqbal conceived the idea of Pakistan and is, therefore, regarded as one of the founding fathers of the country.
