Famed Australian cartoonist Pat Campbell has redrawn an artwork showcasing New Zealand's silver fern as Muslim victims praying in order to pay tribute to Christchurch attack that happened on Friday.The silver fern image is a powerful and emotional symbol which indicates inspiration. The silver fern is specie of a tree which can only be found in New Zealand. The Australian cartoonist redrew the silver fern image with the silhouettes of people praying, he drew the 49 figures of people as number same as initial death toll.Later when the death toll reached to 50 he added another silhouette in the silver fern image. During an interview he mentioned that the response he got for his drawing is very positive and he’s glad that it brings comfort and poignancy to people.On Friday, 15th march the horrific Christchurch attack left 50 people killed by a white supremacist terrorist Brenton Tarrant, who’s been charged of murder on Sunday.
