ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry said on Saturday that India needs introspection in Indian Held Kashmir (IHK) and Pakistan also needs introspection regarding extremist outfits. Speaking in ‘Naya Pakistan’ talk show of Geo News hosted by Shehzad Iqbal, Fawad Chaudhry said Pakistan has got an opportunity to resolve this issue as the international community is standing with Pakistan and its security forces.The minister said Pakistan has already changed its policies and now is the time to remove the lacunae in the implementation process. He said Pakistan certainly needs concrete action on allegations that extremist organisations used its soil in the past. He said practical steps have already been taken in this regard. He said MNAs in Pakistan cannot go out without several security guards, so this is a problem in Pakistan which should be recognised.To a question, Fawad said the Pakistan leadership in united on the issue and the international community is also standing with the Pakistan government. He said Prime Minister Imran Khan has already made it clear that Pakistan is ready to take action in this regard. He said it is in our own interest that Pakistani soil is not used against any other country.
