you & meVivacious yet bubbly, Ayesha Rajpoot stumbled upon the world of modelling through a mere coincidence. Accompanying her sister for a modelling shoot, photographer Khawar Riaz spotted potential in her and decided to book her for his modelling assignments. Soon she found herself in with a team of hair and makeup artists, being styled for her first ever shoot. Ayesha landed her first modelling gig for Nomi Ansari, after which there was no looking back. The newbie has since then worked with big designers and labels such as Amir Adnan, Nickie Nina, Lajwanti, Meeras, Rema Sheharbano, Shirin Hassan , Nauman Arfeen, Gul Ahmed, HSY, Master Tiles, East Breakout amongst others. Even though the young model has been in the industry for just over a year, she has carved a niche for herself among the contemporaries. Let’s get to know the likes and dislikes of this rising star... Who are your biggest assets? My family. What would you say is the highlight of your career so far?My first shoot that was totally unplanned with Nomi Ansari and Khawar Riaz. But it was the best kick-start I could ever had.Who is your mentor?Khawar Riaz as he recognised my potential as a model. What is something that you are strongly possessive about?Right now, I am very possessive about my aims and goals. What is your strength?I would say, my sister who is a source of immense support for me.What motivates you?In this world, where kindness is rare and empathy doesn’t exist, humility and kindness of people really motivate me. Who are your favourite designers?Nomi Ansari , Nilofer Shahid , Nickie Nina, I am a big fan of their work and craft. What do you aspire to be?I aspire to become a popular actress one day. You strongly believe in...I strongly believe in following my dreams and proving my nightmares wrong. You felt over cloud nine when...I was appreciated for my work for one of my modelling projects.Something you would like to forget...Usually people like to forget about their mistakes in life but I would like to learn from those mistakes. Something you would like to remember...The carefree days of my childhood as it has its own charm. You are afraid of...Blood. I cannot even watch movies which are full of violence and bloodshed. You feel dejected when...There is so much poverty and misery in this world and I feel dejected when I see the poor suffering. When feeling low you prefer to...Be alone. What touches you the most?Living with positive attitude. What bores you the most?I cannot stand fake people. Their nonsensical talks bore me the most. Who’s the one person you would love to dine out with?Nomi Ansari. What is the biggest misconception about you?The biggest misconception about me is that people think I am oblivious to what is happening behind my back...If you could be another person who would you like to be?I don’t want to be another person instead I would like people to imitate me.Do you have any regrets?Nope, nothing. A message for the readers?Don’t spy on others and mind your own business.Photography by Khawar Riaz
