Avengers: Endgame isn’t over just yet

Avengers: Endgame has got the big mo. Even as Pokemon Detective Pikachu took the top slot in in international markets, Avengers: Engame isn’t going anywhere with the way it is performing at the box office.Endgame has managed to sail past James Cameron’s Titanic that jumpstarted the careers of Leonardo Di Caprio and Kate Winslet. But, Endgame, having made a strong mark in America has managed to collect more than 1.762 globally and another 102.3 million domestically. With these figures, the film is closing the gap with Avatar. Globally, if the film manages to collect another 302 million dollars, it will sit on the throne of highest grossing film of all-time. Not bad for a superhero film.In the meantime, Endgame is the highest grossing film in markets such as Latin America and Asia-Pacific. It is the sixth highest grossing film in Europe.As for the film itself, now that MCU 3 (Marvel Cinematic Universe) has almost run its course, MCU 4 is definitely in the pipeline.If MCU 3 ends with Spider-Man: Far From Home (July 2), MCU 4 will bring both old set of characters and new ones. While new ones remain a mystery, old characters returning include a sizable number. During the MCU 4 calendar, a solo Black Widow film is expected; Black Panther 2, Guardians of the Galaxy Volume III, Doctor Strange 2 and Captain Marvel 2 are also on the cards. Other Avengers will be found on television such as WandaVision on the upcoming streaming service, Disney Plus. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is another series heading to Disney Plus sans Captain America, the original Avenger. Reports also suggest that Hawkeye is getting his own spin-off series on Disney Plus as is Loki with Tom Hiddleston reprising the role.
