Load Wedding to be screened at RIFF 2019

Earlier this year, it was reported that one of the most notable filmmaking duo Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza will showcase three of their films, Na Maloom Afraad, Na Maloom Afraad 2 and Actor in Law at the upcoming South Asia Forum for Art & Creative Heritage (SAFACH) in New Delhi to be held in January 2019.Recently, it was announced that Load Wedding that released on Eid ul Azha this year will be screened at the Jaipur International Film Festival (JiFF), slated to take place from January 19 to 22, 2019, where the movie has also bagged a nomination in the Best Feature Film category. According to latest developments, the film has another feather in its cap as it is the official selection for the 5th Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF) that is scheduled to take place in Jaipur from January 19 to 23, 2019.Director of Load Wedding, Nabeel Qureshi took to social media and shared, “Pleased to announce that Urdu/ Punjabi feature film Load Wedding from Pakistan, directed by Nabeel Qureshi and produced by Fizza Ali Meerza is officially selected in prestigious RIFF 2019 – 5th Rajasthan International Film Festival at INOX, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.”RIFF 2019 is a five-day extravaganza that showcases a diverse, language-independent, selection of the best feature films, documentaries and short films from around the world, on themes of Hindi and English and other Rajasthani cultures and identities.Load Wedding is a social satire surrounding the theme of marriage and stars Mehwish Hayat, Fahad Mustafa, Faiza Hasan and Samina Ahmed in important roles.
